Training and Empowering Musicians to Prevent Overdose (TEMPO) was formed through an alliance between Gibson Gives, HarborPath, and MusiCares. TEMPO’s approach to overdose prevention is compassionate harm reduction through naloxone training and distribution.
They are network builders in two ways, the first is by connecting other nonprofits to support their mission. The second being direct training to musicians, road crew, venue staff, tour bus providers – essentially as many tour adjacent folks raise their hands to learn how to recognize an overdose and administer naloxone in such an event.
The Roadie Clinic is a proud participant in the Member Network and we have been outfitted with educational tools to equip roadies, venues and tours nationwide with this life-saving training + subsequent free dose of Naloxone to carry with them in their travels. This education takes all of 20-30 minutes and is well worth the time to potentially save a life – fellow crew member or audience member alike.
Sign up to inquire about a free 30-minute education.
Upon completion, you will be eligible to receive a free box of Kloxxado to keep on hand for tours and live events.
